EDUCATIONAL / NETWORKING / CLE
The Morning Buzz is a monthly Networking and Educational series geared toward all of Delaware County’s Non-profit community. Staff board members and volunteers alike are welcome to join the group and attend these important Training sessions, where you will also meet and mingle with the excellent people who make the amazing things happen in the county.
The Morning Buzz is held on the First Friday of Every Month (September – May) from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Delaware County Bar Association, Media, PA.
The DCCF prides itself on delivering recognized leaders to present excellent educational seminars on contemporary issues to assist attorneys, accountants and advisors in the financial sector in the counseling of their clients regarding philanthropic planning opportunities and techniques. Many of the high-level speakers we present, and the topics they cover, allow for credits toward continuing education requirements. We also provide sessions for these professionals on issues encountered in counseling non-profit organizations.
The DCCF Golf Classic is an annual golf event which benefits the General Funds of the DCCF. Each year, hundreds of golf fanatics come out for a day on the links to help support the DCCF and all the hard work that goes into keeping the philanthropic efforts of Delaware County energized.
The DCCF Anniversary Gala is our biggest event of the year, where we honor local philanthropists with the prestigious Gary Papa Leadership in Philanthropy Award. Each November, hundreds of DCCF supporters join us for a night of cocktails, dancing, and exciting auction action!
DCCF’s Field of Interest Funds are where major donors, companies, and the general public can pool their donation dollars in order to solve a particular problem that our county faces. Groups of volunteers from Delaware County band together to host various fundraising events, from small parties at their homes, to bowling or mini-golf tournaments, to major events like concerts — all to help find a way to support efforts to help a particular cause.
