DCCF ADDS ANTHONY J. MITCHELL TO BOARD

Media, PA…Feb. 22, 2016…The Delaware County Community Foundation (DCCF), which supports charitable giving in the county through grant making, charitable vehicles, fund management, and community resources, recently elected Anthony J. Mitchell, CPA, of Brinker, Simpson & Company to its Board of Directors. Mitchell will serve as Assistant Treasurer of the Board.

“DCCF is pleased to have Tony join our Board,” said Iris Leon, executive director of DCCF. “His knowledge of marketing and business development in the financial industry and experience in public accounting will complement the talents of our existing board members and our commitment to making a positive impact on our community.

Mitchell, who has more than 35 years of experience in accounting, joined Brinker, Simpson & Company, LLC, as a partner in January 2010. He is responsible for helping oversee the marketing and business development initiatives within the company, one of the leading full-service certified public accounting and business advisory firms in the region.

Mitchell has a B.S. in accounting from Villanova University and resides in Havertown.
